Applications

This product is a multifunctional organic silicon coupling agent that has been successfully applied in the rubber industry. Its function is to increase the elastic modulus and tensile strength of rubber, significantly improve the wear resistance and compression performance of rubber, while reducing rubber viscosity and saving processing energy. It is most suitable for rubber formulations containing hydroxyl fillers in double bond polymers or their blends. Suitable fillers include white carbon smoke, silicates, chalk, etc; Suitable rubbers include natural rubber (NR), styrene butadiene rubber (SBR), isoprene rubber (IR), butadiene rubber (BR), nitrile rubber (NBR), and ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM). Compared with Si69-B, due to its lower activity of disulfide functional groups, this product can provide more reliable coking safety.
